My role at RSR Partners is to assist principals and managing directors in the execution of searches within our Industrial Technology and Innovation Practice.
How I Deliver Impact
It is important for me to establish good rapport between the candidate and the client. I want to be viewed as a value-added partner and consultant, not “a recruiter.” With candidates, I always remember the “human factor,” meaning, we each all have different experiences, knowledge, and strengths outside of just our professional lives, and those interests and activities outside of work paint a full picture of who we are and what motivates us. Connecting with people on a more personal level, gaining their trust, and being transparent with them is very important to me. This builds lasting relationships.
Expertise I Bring to the Firm’s Clients
I have been in the search industry for 10 years and have worked in several industries recruiting in a variety of job functions. My focus is on senior-level assignments for manufacturing and classic industrial companies, ranging from senior vice president of engineering roles to vice president of human resources positions. Before joining RSR Partners, I worked as an executive recruiter with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company where I did full life-cycle recruiting for director-level and above positions in human resources, communications, legal, and finance. Prior to Goodyear, I worked at a boutique recruiting firm and focused on sales and engineering positions in the industrial automation, healthcare information technology, and life sciences industries.
Before getting into search, I worked at the Cleveland Clinic in marketing helping to rebrand their Children’s Hospital. I also worked in advertising sales for a medical device publication.
I graduated from DePauw University with a BA in communications.
Life Outside RSR Partners
My daughter and I live in Cleveland, Ohio. I am a Cleveland native and diehard sport fan. I also enjoy traveling, with Italy at the top of my list.
