Russell S. (“Trey”) Reynolds III serves as Managing Director and is responsible for the firm’s overall recruiting activities. He is a key principal of the Board Recruiting Practice and serves as the Head of the firm’s Telecommunications and Technology Practice. He has also conducted numerous searches for financial services companies and has worked extensively on corporate governance projects and searches for board members for both privately held and public companies.
Previously, Mr. Reynolds worked for Russell Reynolds Associates in New York City where he recruited candidates to positions in the areas of corporate finance, portfolio management, general management and human resources. Initially, he worked in the firm’s finance department, where he managed the budget process for 21 offices worldwide. Additionally, he oversaw the banking relationships and treasury operations of the firm and managed special projects.
Before Russell Reynolds Associates, he worked for J.P. Morgan’s commercial paper marketing group as a liaison between the firm’s marketing and trading operations. He joined J.P. Morgan initially in its credit department.
Mr. Reynolds also serves as a Trustee of certain mutual funds affiliated with ProFunds Group, the largest provider of short and magnified exposure indexed funds. Between ProShares, ProFunds and AccessOne, the fund complex manages over $34 billion in assets in more than 230 funds. The fund complex is based in Bethesda, MD. He is a graduate of George Washington University and holds a master’s degree in telecommunications and computing management from Polytechnic University, Brooklyn, NY.
