1992

Our Founder and Chairman Russell Reynolds acquires Directorship, an industry leading corporate governance magazine.


1993

Reynolds transforms the business into a specialized consulting firm focused on corporate governance issues facing CEOs and boards of directors.


1999

The firm added executive search capabilities to provide a more integrated leadership service to the firm’s board clients.


2003

Director Education and Corporate Governance Forum Series created to provide a peer-to-peer forum for CEOs and boards to come together for an in-depth idea exchange of best governance practices.


2006

Company changes its name to RSR Partners and spins off its publishing and director education businesses.


2008

Cleveland, Ohio office opened.


2013

The firm continues its expansion with the opening of an office in Dallas, Texas, adding to its existing geographies of Chicago, Cleveland, Greenwich, Los Angeles, and New York.


2015

Tokyo, Japan office opened.


2017

To address the changing leadership needs in the $72 trillion asset management industry, the firm acquires Higdon Partners, creating a premier asset management recruitment and advisory team.

We remain on the cutting edge of advising boards of directors and chief executive officers on C-suite recruiting, succession planning, and talent assessment.
