This week, Carter Burgess, head of our Board Recruiting Practice, is featured extensively in the new Next Gen issue of Executive Talent, the global trade publication of the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC).
In the eight-page article “The Future of Boards” (page 28), AESC writes:
“Boards are also broadening the range of skills and experience that they are seeking to serve both the board and the company. Carter Burgess, managing director and head of the Board Recruiting Practice at RSR Partners in Greenwich, CT said, ‘Boards are doing a much better job of bringing on new members who have particularly relevant experience, perspective, and expertise. This reflects the fact that boards are devoting more time, thought, and effort into creating their candidate profiles within the context of a more comprehensive long-term succession planning process.’”
Burgess is also featured several additional times throughout the remainder of the piece, where he offers his insight on important issues such as cyber oversight, director tenure, and new technologies boards should embrace.
AESC’s Executive Talent magazine presents research and insights on critical issues impacting today’s global business and key trends influencing executive-level talent worldwide.
