My Role at RSR Partners
I serve as the firm’s chief operating officer. In this capacity, I operationalize the strategy of the firm, manage its global infrastructure, and oversee administrative functions to enhance our clients and candidates’ experience while working with our firm. My experience encompasses a broad range of industries, including financial services, healthcare, risk management, hospitality, technology, industrial, and non-profit organizations.
How I Deliver Impact
It is really important to understand a client’s corporate culture so we may identify candidates who not only have the right functional skills, but also have the right characteristics and personality to fit into the organization in order for them to have a positive impact on their organization. I try to spend as much time as possible in a client’s office prior to a search – from meetings with key executives to walking the factory floor. If you invest your time and roll up your sleeves upfront to understand the culture and operations, you increase the odds that you will fill the position with a leader that will deliver impact.
Expertise I Bring to the Firm’s Clients
Previously, I was with Kroll, Marsh, and, most recently, Alliant Insurance Services, where I advised clients on identifying and mitigating corporate risk and implementing innovative employee benefits strategies for multinational corporations, private companies, law firms, private equity funds, and family offices.
My focus is on senior-level assignments for financial services, healthcare, industrial, technology, and innovation companies. Earlier in my career, I served as a vice president at both Marsh and Kroll. At Marsh, I advised clients with an array of risk management and human capital strategies and solutions. While at Kroll, I worked on a variety of engagements, including investigations, due diligence, security services, and crisis management assignments. Prior, I created marketing and sales and strategies for new products and technologies and managed strategic partnerships for Duracell, a division of Gillette.
I am a graduate of Lake Forest College in Chicago, Illinois and I have an MBA from Columbia University.
Life Outside RSR Partners
There is no greater pleasure than being with my wife and three kids either on the water, exploring, or simply spending time together. I enjoy long distance cycling and any activity on the water or in the mountains. As a volunteer, my primary focus is on being an active member of the Executive Committee of the Stamford Hospital Foundation. Since 2009, I have been chairman of Hope in Motion, the hospital’s year-round fundraising initiative for its Bennett Cancer Center. Hope in Motion’s signature event is the largest walk, run, and ride in Connecticut, with over 5,000 participants.
