How I Deliver Impact
To be a trusted advisor to a chair of a nominating and governance committee and to be a sounding board to the CEO is a vital component of leading a search for a member of the board of directors. I strive to stay apprised of governance trends and regulations and use networking to remain relevant in the board and CEO sectors. My passion and drive is to take considerable time learning the background, stories, and strategy of a client’s leadership and their company. With a client company, we craft a story that will help attract the best leaders aligned with its go-forward culture and strategy. I am not just a consultant, but I become an extension of my clients, as the focus is on long-term outcomes and the impact on the market.
Expertise I Bring to the Firm’s Clients
I have over 20 years experience in the executive search industry. When I work with clients, I represent them and their future in the marketplace.
Before RSR Partners, I led board and CEO assignments at two of the large, global firms. I began my search career in their Consumer Goods and Services and Private Equity Practices, as well as the Financial Officers Practice. My early career was as an officer in commercial banking at MBank, the vice president of the Office of Management and Budget at Dallas Area Rapid Transit, and leading the Dallas office of investment banking firm Apex Securities.
Being able to understand a company, its strategy, and its plans for growth are key drivers for success. In the end, a good search is a deeply invasive process; we learn about executives in ways one has never imagined and take away information that can make a difference between surviving and thriving.
I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.
Life Outside of RSR Partners
My husband Ron and I are empty nesters mostly living in Dallas, Texas. My interests span the arts, education, and transportation. I chair the AT&T Performing Arts Center and am a Dallas City Council appointed board member of the DFW Airport Authority. My two daughters are living the young person’s life in New York City.
