My Role at RSR Partners
I am a senior associate in the firm’s Asset Management Practice, tasked with search strategy, candidate identification, and business development preparation.
How I Deliver impact
Puzzles have always intrigued me – crosswords, anagrams, number games, logic/brain teasers, etc. A solid strategy is needed to solve the conundrum, which is also relevant to the executive search process. With that in mind, I investigate the best resources to extract the information needed to help our asset management team understand potential and current clients’ search needs. My goal is to furnish my consultant team with facts and details as timely and efficiently as possible so that they are armed with accurate data and material to solve each search puzzle.
Expertise I Bring to the Firm’s Clients
I began working in executive search in 2000, and have been responsible for the research and candidate identification for hundreds of searches. Before joining RSR Partners in 2017, I was the director of research for Higdon Partners, a boutique executive search firm that conducted senior-level searches exclusively for the asset management industry.
My focus has been on mandates for senior-level board and investment management executives for endowments, foundations, family offices, wealth managers, corporate plans, traditional asset managers, mutual funds, private equity firms, hedge funds, and sovereign wealth funds.
Prior to my search career, I was a real estate paralegal for Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York, as well as a few other boutique law firms. I also have experience in the social work arena, having spent some time as a family services case manager for the Presbyterian Home for Children in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
I am a cum laude graduate of Stephen F. Austin University, with a BA in both English and sociology.
Life Outside RSR Partners
My better half and I have spent the last 22 years together in New York City, enjoying all Manhattan has to offer, especially the Metropolitan Opera, New York City Ballet, the New York Yankees, and any science fiction film or series that captures our interest. I also spend time traveling to New England and Texas to visit family and friends.
