Russell Reynolds Reflects on George H.W. Bush in Greenwich Sentinel

Chairman of RSR Partners, Russell S. Reynolds, grew up in town with George H.W. Bush and was Bush’s finance manager when he ran for President. The Greenwich Sentinel featured reflections from Reynolds in an article commemorating the former president.

“[Bush] had drive, ambition, and deep respect for all others,” said Reynolds, according to the Sentinel. “President Bush fathered a great president and a great governor, in addition to everything else. It is hard to compare him to almost anyone. His legacy is enormous,” he added.

In an internal memo to the firm, CEO Brett Stephens shared that, “Words like integrity, respect, service, generosity, and warmth come to mind when reflecting upon his life. When we use the word GRACE to help anchor our culture, I cannot think of anyone who embodied this more than George H.W. Bush.”
