Latino Board Representation: Improving or Not?

Victor Arias, a Managing Director in the Board Recruiting Practice of RSR Partners, based in Dallas, recently reported on the status Latino representation on corporate boards during the 3rd Annual Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA) Board Leaders Convening.

Mr. Arias’ study found that while Latinos only represent 2.4 percent of all corporate board members on Fortune 1000 companies in 2017, that number increased from 1.6 percent in 2011. The good news is that rate of first-time Latino directors is growing and the number of Latino directors in multiple seat holders is decreasing.
